Generative Music and the BioFeedback loop?
Was watching a video with Brian Eno, a musician who composes using generative techniques rather than preset melodies, and the BioFeedback devices we discussed in previous meetings came to me. I thought it would be interesting if a program could be designed to take the BioFeedback information, then process it to create music which would then alter your BioFeedback rhythms in a desired fashion ie: a piece custom generated to make you relax, or to enhance your concentration. Please post your thoughts on this and/or links to related or such software.
Here is a link to some information on Brian's work, as well as the software he uses to generate the music: "Generative Music 1" by Brian Eno (requires a plugin to hear the music, free on website)
Edit:
Found a couple of papers on using EEG/BioFeedback measurements to control generative music:

Also, not sure if anyone is familiar with Second Life, but there are people working on integrating the BioFeedback device from Wild Divine as an interface into the world and using it to control music and particle effects, Slate Magazine: Komuso Tokugawa at the Crossroads

Inner Life Project
Apparently I wasn't the only one with the idea...
